Three little billy goats,
Three little billy goats,
Three little billy goats
Gruff.

Everyday they ran and played upon a grassy knoll,
but one day the grass was low so it was time to go.

The trouble was the greener grass was on the other side,
across a bridge and underneath a hungry troll did hide.

He saw the goats and licked his lips and thought, “It’s time to eat.”
The goats were smart, they made a plan and readied to defeat.

First came the littlest billy goat.

Trip-trap, trip-trap,
“Who’s that trip-trapping over my bridge?”

“I’m the littlest billy goat.
Eat my brother instead.
He is older and bigger than I,
and will keep you fed.”

The troll licked his lips and let him pass.
Trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap.

Then came the second billy goat.

Trip-trap, trip-trap,
“Who’s that trip trapping over my bridge?”

“I’m the second billy goat.
Eat my brother instead,
He is older and bigger than I,
And will keep you fed.”

The troll licked his lips and let him pass.
Trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap.

Then came the third and biggest billy goat.
